1. Support

If something in the App is broken, you cannot get to your subscription, or you simply have a question, write to support_myevening@rongan.me. My Evening is run by one person, so that address reaches the operator directly. We aim to reply within 3 business days. There is no telephone support line. The App also has a Feedback option in Settings, but that is a one-way suggestion box — we read it, and it is not a support channel, so anything you need an answer to should go to the email address above.

Refunds and billing. Subscriptions are sold by Apple, not by us — see § 5 below. Refund requests for an App Store purchase go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you are an EU/EEA consumer exercising a right of withdrawal, use our Model Withdrawal Form. Write to us anyway if Apple's flow does not resolve it and we will help.

4. Hosting and Infrastructure

  • Website (this site): Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps, West Europe region.
  • Backend (myevening.app): Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Service, Table Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights), Azure North Europe region (Ireland). Azure Front Door provides global edge delivery.
  • Speech-to-text processor: Eleven Labs Inc., trading as ElevenLabs (United States), invoked transiently from the backend.
  • Person-detection processor: OpenAI (OpenAI Ireland Ltd. for EEA/UK; OpenAI L.L.C. for the US), invoked transiently from the backend.
  • Subscription verification: Apple (Apple Inc. / Apple Distribution International Ltd. for EEA) — signed App Store transactions, App Store Server Notifications, and the App Store Server API. The App does not use Sign in with Apple.
  • Operator administration: a restricted internal portal, accessible only to the operator and secured with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), is used for support and account management. No end-user personal data is shared with Entra ID.

5. Distribution

The My Evening iOS app is distributed exclusively through Apple's App Store. Apple Inc. (and its regional affiliates, including Apple Distribution International Ltd. in Cork, Ireland for the EEA/UK) acts as the merchant of record for App Store and in-app purchases. Apple collects and remits applicable consumer VAT/GST/sales tax to local tax authorities and pays the operator the net amount.
